Upendra Launches His New Political Party

Kannada Star Upendra has acted in more than 50 movies till date across several languages down South and has directed 10 movies. Fondly known as Real Star in Sandalwood, we know that Upendra recently expressed his interest in joining politics.

Going a step ahead, Upendra launched his new political party and named it Karnataka Pragnyavanta Janata Paksha (KPJP) which translates to Enlightened People’s party.

Upendra has high hopes and revealed that this might be a regional party now but some day it will emerge as a national party.

Upendra also opines, that we want leaders who can explain ideas from micro level that too with complete transparency because transparency plays a key in our party.

Upendra also confirmed, Karnataka Pragnyavanta Janata Paksha will write an affidavit stating that it will not join with any other regional or national party and will work towards its core principles.

Well, it is very interesting to see Upendra launching his own political outfit with no hype and hoopla while stars from Tamil Nadu are making just media announcements but nothing concrete is developed at ground level. Tamil Tambi’s, take a cue from Sandalwood Real Star Upendra.
