One month ago, Junior NTR’s ‘Adurs’ was released amidst tight security in Telangana region following the repercussions of Telangana struggle in the state. Police security at every theatre, frisking of patrons has become a regular procedure for every movie lover who wished to have the darshan of Junior NTR in ‘Adurs’.
Now, the same is repeated for King Khan Shahrukh Khan for his next release ‘My Name is Khan’ which is slated to release on 12th of this month. Comments made by Shahrukh Khan on Pakistani cricketers related to IPL and consequent firing of Shiva Sena over Shahrukh Khan has created some tense moments before the release.
To get relief from these kinds of tensions, Producer, Director Karan Johar has attended today before the Police Commissioner in Mumbai and requested him to provide tight security at all the theatres to see that none of anti social elements enter the theatres, thus causing troubles to the screening of ‘My Name is Khan.’
Although Shivasena has come up open that they are not going to target the release of ‘My Name is Khan,’ Vishwa Hindu Parishad seems to be interested in banning this movie.
So Shahrukh Khan’s situation seems to be ditto Junior NTR’s few days ago.
