9 Year Boy First Night With 18 Year Girl: Stupid Serial

Aren’t we getting regressive by encouraging some stupid TV serials promoting the stuff like child marriage? A petition has been filed on Change.org against the show Pehredaar Piya Ki as Smriti Zubin Irani, Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles and Information and Broadcasting along with Broadcasting Content Complaints Council are examining the content of serial.

‘A 10 year old impressionable little kid Ratan Sangh (Afaan Khan) caressing and stalking a lady Diya (Tejaswi Prakash) who is more than double his age filling Sindoor in her Maang and an ill advised Suhagraat sequence between the two is being telecasted at prime time, family time. Imagine the kind of influence it will steadily and perpetually infuse in the viewers’ mindset. We want a ban on the serial. We do not want our kids to be influenced by such TV serials,’ the petition stated.

While the makers officially informed on haven’t receiving any orders yet they are also confident about show but social media fired all guns calling Pehredaar Piya Ki a stupid serial.

‘There is nothing objectionable about the show and we are not promoting child marriage. Anything that will come to us we will respect and obey it,’ said the serial producer. Ever since, Pehredaar Piya Ki was first premiered on television on July 17, there is a furor everywhere.
