Finally, here comes the news of big relief for Hyderabad commuters to escape from pollution and traffic. Yes, Telangana Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao has informed that most prestigious Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) project would be launched in November last week. CM KCR has also sent the invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the operations from Nagole to Secunderabad.
‘We have closed Oliphanta brige in Secunderabad because there is a small gap to connect Metro Rail to Secunderabad station. This work will be completed in August while balance works and railway safety certification formalities will be finished by October enabling for November launch,’ KTR said at a press meet.
With Global Entrepreneurship Summit along with Indian Science Congress and the World IT Congress to be held in November with Modi as Chief Guest, it would be an easy schedule for PM to launch Hyderabad Metro.
Meanwhile, the entire stretch would be finished for usage by the end of 2018.
