First Look: Nuclear Pokhran As Parmanu

Bollywood is always one step ahead than any of our regional film industries in cashing up with novel concepts inspired from contemporary world scenario. Here comes the film on Pokhran Nuclear weapon detonations titled Parmanu starring John Abraham in central lead and directed by Abhishek Sharma.

Pokhran has been one of the bone of contention areas in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan because the desert region has been serving as India’s prime test site for India’s nuclear tests. Rightly, the title Parmanu means Atom which is the smallest particle of chemical element that can exist in universe. 

As mentioned by the makers, Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran is based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by India at Pokhran test range in 1998. The film also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani is scheduled for Dec 8th release.
