OMG... 100 Crs In One Day

This Friday is a big day for Telugu cinema industry. We have not 1 or 2 but 3 biggies releasing on the same day.

Rana’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Boyapati Srinu’s Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Nithin’s LIE will clash horns this Friday. More interestingly, huge business is riding on these movies.

Since there is a long weekend in the form of Independence Day, all these movies wanted to utilize the most of it and are releasing at a time on a massive scale this Friday.

While Nene Raju Nene Mantri is fairly medium budgeted compared to the other two movies, it is still leading the race by occupying more number of theaters. It is also leading in terms of advance booking due to Rana and Suresh Babu factor.

Bellamkonda Srinivas starrer Jaya Janaki Nayaka has done a pre-release business of approximately 45 crores and it is not surprising as Boyapati Srinu directed it.

On the other hand, Nithin’s LIE is approximately budgeted around 37 crores and stands next to Jaya Janaki Nayaka in terms of pre-release business. This is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and also has Arjun in a prominent role. Movie is extensively shot in US.

Biggest advantage is that all the three movies are of different genres and we hope these movies will put a smile on faces of audience.

Three big distribution houses – Suresh Productions, Asian Movies and Dil Raju have played their roles well in acquiring reasonable number of theatres for their respective movies without any commotion.

Going forward, we see this as a healthy trend where a movie should not suffer in terms of getting the perfect release they garner.
