Star Heroine Joins Horror August

Anando Brahma, starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead role, supported by Vennela Kishore and Srinivas Reddy is gearing up for grand release on August 18th.

Written and directed by Mahi. V. Raghav, it is touted to be a comedy horror movie and comes with a tag line Bhayaniki Navvante Bhayam.

At a time when Taapsee Pannu’s career is going great guns with movies like Pink, Baby, Naam Shabana and The Ghazi Attack, one wonders why she chose to do a comedy centered horror movie, in fact a fade out genre.

Recently we saw heroines like Anjali, Nithya Menon and others trying the same genre with no much success off late.

Though there were solid hits in the horror comedy in the last five years, the current trend says that it has become boringly monotonous.

We will have to wait and see if there is any magic in Anando Brahma or will it face the same fate!

Taapsee Pannu's movies are now labeled to be minimum guaranteed and hope to see the same result with Anando Brahma produced on 70MM Entertainment banner of Bhale Manchi Roju.
