Aarambh, The Small Screen Baahubali!

Baahubali is a product familiar for its massive production scale, high end CG and the fantasy Mahishmati backdrop connected too well with world audience. Thanks to unimaginable imaginary writings from veteran Vijayendra Prasad.

What happens when the same scale of production values are implemented on small screen and that is what this epic TV series Aarambh is all about! Story for this high budgeted technical extravaganza on TV is penned by the same Vijayendra Prasad and Goldie Behl is the director.

While Rajinesh Duggal is playing Varun Deva the hero, Karthika Nair will be playing heroine Devasena. The news is officially announced by Star network. 

Aarambh is a love story between Devasena and Varuna Deva belonging to two rival clans. How their love story flourishes is concept for this limited series.

‘I play princess Devasena in the serial but the character has nothing to do with Anushka’s character in Baahubali. This TV series is bigger than any Indian film made on a mammoth budget. My character is the ruler of a matriarchal kingdom with Dravidian culture and civilization. I have got lot of stunts to do like I have to fight standing on elephants, horses and underwater,’ Karthika said.
