Magadheera Back in Bollywood News!

Exactly at a time when Magadheera director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is set for a release in this week, the Telugu blockbuster from Ramcharan is back in Bollywood news. Yes, Magadheera remake has been a long churning subject in Mumbai film circles but producer Madhu Manthena who bought Magadheera remake rights for a hefty price isn’t finding the right cast, crew to move ahead. 

But, inspirations and rip-offs aren’t new. In what can be called as a direct Magadheera rip-off, Raabta is at the receiving end ever since the film’s trailer is released. Dinesh Vijayan’s directorial debut flick has cent percent similarities with Magadheera, right from re-incarnation to dying for love.

While Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon reprised Ramcharan, Kajal’s roles; Jim Sarbh played Dev Gill’s character. Now, the reaction from Madhu Mantena is awaited. Will he go for a legal action against Raabta producers or wait till film’s release on June 9th.
