Guru USA Collections Average!

Films like ‘Guru’ based on strong class audience attractive content is expected to fare well in its target areas like metros and Overseas. With an admirable star like Venkatesh in lead and a proven script on hand, ‘Guru’ had a positive verdict from critics. Unfortunately, the same isn’t appearing in the Box Office numbers reported from United States.

According to the information we have, Venky’s ‘Guru’ had an average start while Nayanathara’s ‘Dora’ and Puri Jagannath’s ‘Rogue’ are disastrous.

Guru: Thu $21,901 - Fri $36,278 - Sat $55,011 - Sun $23,000 (still to report) 

Dora: Thu $293 - Fri $659 - Sat $1,198 - Sun (still to report) 

Rogue: Total less than $1000 (from all three days)

At the loss of these three films, definitely ‘Katamarayudu’ was expected to benefit but that too did not happen as Pawan Kalyan’s final figures till Saturday stood at $1,126,749.

Reports say, ‘Irudhi Suttru’ and ‘Saala Khadoos’ being a highly watched film through internet piracy, NRI Telugu audience did not show big excitement towards ‘Guru.’
