South Indian star director Shankar tendered unconditional apologies to media and a photographer on behalf of his ‘2.0’ team. As we reported earlier, bouncers employed at ‘2.0’ shooting location in Triplicane manhandled two photographers belonging to a reputed newspaper and a case has been filed on the same.
When this news made a lot of buzz on social media, Shankar jumped into the action and carried negotiations with media men and solved the issue amicably.
Director Shankar arranged a press meet at Chennia Press Club and offered apology for the incident.
‘Shankar meets the press and asks apology for attack on journalists and mentioned that this has happened without his knowledge at 2.0 location,’ a note from Tamil media mentioned.
