Keshava, Inspired From Sasi Kumar!

The first firm impression one would have got watching ‘Keshava’ pre look and first look posters is young hero Nikhil is wise and matured. After a row of new concept based films served from Nikhil, we now heard that ‘Keshava’ from director Sudheer Varma of ‘Swamy Rara’ fame drew inspiration from many films all the way from ‘Godfather, Kill Bill’ to Tamil cult film ‘Subramaniapuram.’

Resurrecting Madhurai from 1980s, the Sasi Kumar and Colors Swathy starring retro film won critical acclaim and also the popular audience verdict, declared a hit in Tamil and dubbed later into Telugu.

Reports say, Sudheer Varma is re-telling the same ‘Subramaniapuram’ story but with a changed backdrop from Madhurai to Rayalaseema. Though it is too early to comment about final product shape, Nikhil is looking terrific and this is his first makeover looks wise. Hope, ‘Keshava’ turns out to be one more super hit on the lines of ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada.’
