‘Raktha Charitra’ is more than ‘Godfather’!

The movie of ‘Raktha Charitra’ will once again go onto the sets from February. Ramgopal Varma is again ready to show his touch of midas to his own people. He was so awestruck about the rivalry between the families of Paritala and Maddelacheruvu that Ramgopal Varma has even rated this ‘Raktha Charitra’ as more than ‘Godfather.’

“Godfather is the fictious character that existed in the country of Italy and was Indianised by many directors to suit our region. But the main characters of ‘Raktha Charitra’ have a bearing to any part of the world. It is more about emotions and grudge, which connects to every human being. If ‘Godfather’ is fictious, ‘Raktha Charitra’ is non faction.

After being rated this ‘Raktha Charitra’ as a faction story by Media, I would sincerely say that, till date I don’t know what does ‘Factionism’ mean? ‘Raktha Charitra’ has its roots in Paritala and Maddelacheruvu’s story, but is identified in any part of the world. That is why I say, ‘Raktha Charitra’ is more than ‘Godfather,” said Ramgopal Varma.
