Guru, Started and Ended!

Venkatesh became very selective in the recent past. He isn’t worrying with wastage of time because until and unless satisfied with the script, story and director, there’s no way Venky is ready to give the nod. One such flick which Venkatesh really liked in recent times is ‘Saala Khadoos’ that is now remade in Telugu as ‘Guru’ by director Sudha Kongara.        

In fact, this action drama based in sports backdrop wrapped up entire shooting in Chennai yesterday. Kicked off with shooting in September third week, unit took very less time span to fold the entire production. On December 13th that is on Venkatesh’s birthday, ‘Guru’ teaser would be released while film is likely to hit the screens on Jan 26th. Rithika Singh is playing the female lead.

All the scenes which did not require Venkatesh’s presence are as it is lifted from Tamil/Hindi original and are dubbed with Telugu lines. This made their job half done. Let us see, how far this would affect the final quality of product.
