2.0 Will Reach Hollywood Level: Rajinikanth

After ‘Bahubali,’ entire world started to stare at Indian Cinema not only for the commercial exposure but also for technical strength gained in recent times. Another upcoming science fiction action entertainer ‘2.0,’ a sequel to blockbuster ‘Robot’ is attracting the entire Nation and other continents too.

‘2.0’ first look posters pertaining to hero Rajinikanth as Professor Vaseekaran and Akshay Kumar as scientist Richard are unveiled. The tagline of, ‘The World Is Not Only For Humans’ says what’s this out of world fiction concept going to be.

‘2.0 is not just a prestigious movie for our producer, director or entire unit, this film is prestigious for entire Indian cinema. For all those who believe that Indian cinema despite having financial strength and technical excellence is unable to reach Hollywood standards, 2.0 will be the answer. I am confident of this film reaching Hollywood standards. Entire India will feel proud of this film,’ said Rajinikanth.

Appreciating his co-star and antagonist Akshay Kumar, ‘'if given a chance, I would love to play Akshay Kumar’s role in the film. He is the real hero of 2.0,’ Rajini added. 

While Rajinikanth retained the Chitti look from ‘Robot,’ in contrast the scarier Crow Man appearance of Akshay Kumar is more striking. 

Amy Jackson is playing the heroine of ‘2.0’ while AR Rahman is the music composer. The magnum opus will be releasing for Diwali 2017 with 3D version.
