Many of the common audience hasn’t got the information about a movie called ‘Ghatana’ releasing tomorrow in theaters opposite to Nikhil’s ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada.’
Starring Nithya Menon as heroine, ‘Ghatana’ is directed by Sripriya of ‘Drishyam’ fame. First title considered and promoted for this film is ‘Malini 22’ which is later changed to ‘Ghatana.’ Actually, this movie is a remake to Malayalam hit ‘22 Female Kottayam,’ based on real life story of a rape victim.
Sripriya made ‘Ghatana’ as Telugu, Tamil bi-lingual. While Tamil version has hit the screens as ‘Malini 22 Palayamkottai’ long back, ‘Ghatana’ suffered huge finally releasing tomorrow with zero promotional buzz. That’s the pity state of affair with a talented heroine Nithya Menon.
