Vishal Reacts On Suspension!

Nadigar Sangam Secretary and Vishal Film Factory’s proprietor Vishal’s temporary suspension from the primary membership of Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) is hot news in entie South Indian film circles. Vishal has openly criticized the functioning of TFPC and its office bearers during a recent interview given to a Tamil magazine which has hurt the sentiments of TFPC.

Then a notice is served by TFPC suspending on Unity and Discipline basis. They also demanded an explanation from Vishal. Though Vishal offered his clarification, the Council wasn’t happy and officially announced the suspension.

‘I made those comments in an interview casually. Not just me, actors like Karunas also made similar comments. Will Council react on Karunas? As they dealt officially, I will also respond legally but I don’t stop questioning on their functioning. TFPC President Kalaipuli S Thanu is one of my good friends. I don’t have any personal enmity. I used by fundamental right to question because I want to Tamil film industry grow as a unit,’ said Vishal.

‘Coming to Piracy, around seven movies were captured on camera at the PVR Orion mall in Bangalore. What’s the action present TFPC has taken? They haven’t taken any actions to curb the piracy. There is so much to do in the areas like piracy,’ Vishal further added.
