‘Naruda DONORuda’ is an experimental concept based flick and a desperate attempt made by Sumanth to revive his career. Although, the film is made on a shoestring budget with a realistic touch using all the resources available at free or cheaper prices in Annapurna Studios, profit or loss on financial account isn’t a question for him and his sister Supriya.

However, close sources to Sumanth have revealed that working on ‘Naruda’ expanded his broad view on cinema and its making. ‘Now, I cannot sit idle wasting time waiting for a right story or script to get on my table. Even if writers aren’t succeeding, I look around at neighboring regional films in other languages to catch a subject which ignite me and remake it. That’s the confidence ‘Naruda’ gave me,’ Sumanth says.

‘Currently, I want to go all out playing a complete villain role. I am looking for one such script. Even if I don’t get it, I can pull off with so many alternative concepts. I can see Telugu cinema scaling new highs like Tamil and Hindi industries,’ a self assured Sumanth added.

So, this may not be an end for Sumanth’s career as an artist. He is betting big on diverse scripts and various characters adopting a special path of own. Of course, Annapurna Studios is always there to support his initiatives.
