‘Telangana Brahmana Association’ has complained to the Human Rights Commission on ‘Adurs’ team for insulting their traditions and culture in the name of entertainment. This Association has quoted few scenes in the movie wherein two Brahmins (NTR and Brahmanandam) go to a pub to have beer with a girl (Nayanathara) and also the lyrics in the song of ‘Chari’ which comes in second half which are insulting their community.
‘Pilaka Juttu,’ 'Panche kattu' and ‘Niluvu Bottu’ are the few phrases in the song which are targeting the customs and traditions of Brahmin community thus damaging their reputation, said a Brahmin.
Brahmana Association is demanding for unconditional removal of few scenes and lyrics in the song which are derogatory. Let us wait, how will Human Rights Commission react to these complaints?
