No To Chiranjeevi, Yes To Ajith

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi was original choice to play baddie in megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film Khaidi No 150. The Rakta Charitra actor rejected the offer due to unknown reasons. Interestingly, as per reports, Vivek Oberoi has given nod to play negative role in Tamil mass hero Ajith’s 57th film to be directed by Siva.

Vivek Oberoi was impressed by the story, so has given his consent to act in the forthcoming Tamil flick. Vivek Oberoi is alleged to be playing an international criminal in the spy thriller film. A formal announcement on the issue is expected soon. Earlier, Abhishek Bachchan, Arvind Swami, Arjun Sarja, Sudeep and Prasanna were considered for the antagonist's role.

Ajith essays an investigating officer, who wants to get to the root of a crime that occurs in Tamil Nadu and he flies to Europe to trace criminals behind it. A major part of the film will be shot abroad. Kajal Agarwal and Akshara Haasan are female leads in the film likely to release in summer, 2017.
