One More Historical For Hrithik!

Hrithik Roshan’s last release ‘Mohenjo Daro’ based on historical Indus Valley Civilization concept hasn’t impressed the National and International audience, evolved as an average flick. The high budget and technical expenses spent by producer, director Ashutosh Gowariker may not be recovered. Anyways, Hrithik isn’t stepping back from experimentation again.

If reports from Bollywood are to be relied upon, Hrithik signed a bulk 200 days call sheet for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next magnum opus ‘Padmavathi,’ based on Alauddin Khilji’s obsession for Chittor queen. Apparently, Bhansali narrated the story first to Ranveer Singh and later to Shah Rukh Khan before roping Hrithik in.

Deepika Padukone will be playing the title character taking home a solid pay cheque of Rs.11 Crore. To all our knowledge, Bhansali is gem of a director handling such grandeur historical subjects and his creative capabilities are proved more than twice. Combination of Hrithik, Deepika and SLB can be historical.
