Jakkanna Producer Walks Smiling!

As we said earlier, it has become harder for trade analysts to interpolate the overall business of a Telugu movie. When everyone thought that ‘Jakkanna’ from Sunil would end as a flop continuing his flop saga, the film is reportedly running to decent crowds even in its third week. Although the funny entertainer is lifted off from main screens in Hyderabad, it is still raking decent shares in Andhra Pradesh.

Producer Sudarshan Reddy is more than a happy man because whole of his investment is safely recovered and buyers too entered into profits. With overflows continuing on weekends and poor mouth talk spread out on this week’s new releases, public in lower order centers are still preferring ‘Jakkanna’ as safe entertainer.

‘Buyers are still enjoying a share of Rs. 40 Lakhs per day in Andhra, Ceded areas,’ said producer Sudarshan Reddy with a smiling face when Cinejosh met him recently. All in all, the movie seems to have ended the dry run for Sunil.
