He Said No To Bichagadu Remake!

Vijay Anthony is now a big name in Telugu film circles. Though he is recognized as a talented artist and wonderful music director, till the time ‘Bichagadu’ happened he wasn’t called a hit hero in Tollywood. His last few films like ‘Saleem, Nakilee’ won the critics hearts but not the Box Office. Now that ‘Bichagadu’ is nearing into 20 Crores club, this is a major achievement for him.

‘Watching the Tamil original ‘Pichaikaran,’ some of the Telugu producers approached me for Telugu remake. But, I said them no because I wanted to develop my own Telugu market. Today, my effort and decision is paying off,’ Vijay Anthony informed media.

With ‘Bichagadu’ seeing a massive and fortunate success, Vijay Anthony’s next movie ‘Saithan’ is creating ripples in distribution circles. More eventually, Vijay Anthony acts only in those movies produced on his own banner in the name of his wife Fathima Vijay Anthony.
