Sharwanand Missed A Golden Chance

While the exact financial reasons behind Sharwanand detaching from Cheran directed ‘Rajadhi Raja’ is unknown but the movie is reportedly released on Saturday evening. In fact, all those movie lovers who waited for a release and review update about this film were disappointed when the film failed to hit the screens on Friday. Lack of proper promotions and hero himself moving away kept the movie on a wrong foot.

As we know, Cheran is a sensitive director who can sketch characters with lot of depth. Problem began when he experimented with the release on DTH prior than theatrical. There was a stiff opposition from distribution firms in Tamil Nadu and he later went on releasing the DVD too. All these have upset calculations and ‘Rajadhi Raja’ struck to the cans for months.

Good news is, ‘Rajadhi Raja’ isn’t really a bad film. It’s worth winning 2.5 stars, far better than many other movies released in last few weeks. Had Sharwanand and Nithya Menon managed towing the publicity from front, the result would have been far better. Ego issues and financial complications killed the flick completely. If you love Nithya and Sharwa as a pair, try for a screen in your near by surrounding.
