Certain films appear to have made with similar stories. Direction being a passionately creative job; directors execute those stories and scripts in their own style thus bringing a non-identical on-screen output. One such case was found in the last week when two youthful romantic films ‘Guppedantha Prema’ and ‘Meeku Meere Maaku Meme’ have hit the theaters amidst very low buzz.
As per the plot skeleton, college student or boy A falls in love with college-mate or say girl B. If overall first half is meant to narrate their love story in college backdrop and fun thereof, the real conflict opens up during interval when silly issues result in their breakup. Although reasons appear to be doltish, we need to enter into second half when the new girl C enters into script thus making the film a triangular love story. Towards pre climax, A realizes his true love for B and thus C is discarded as useless.
This is a popularly used template in industry from decades. One does not know how much potential this line really had in it in contemporary times but the above mentioned two movies had a homogeneous line of execution which was identified by few of our hardcore Telugu film critics.
