Nagarjuna Wanted Negative Role, But…

King Akkineni Nagarjuna attended audio launch event of his elder son Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming romantic thriller film Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo as chief guest. Director Gautam Menon and music director AR Rahman also graced the function along with other cast and crew members.

While speaking at the event, Nag recalled an incident that, Gautam Menon had once asked him to play negative role in his movie. Although Nag was keen on doing baddie, Gautam hadn’t approached him for long time. “I am happy that, though Gautam is not giving me the opportunity, he is making films with my son Naga Chaitanya,” said Nagarjuna.

Manjima Mohan is making debut as actress with SSS produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy. Baba Sehgal has essayed antagont and Rana Daggubati will be seen in a cameo role. The film's premiere date has been locked, with it slated to release on July 15th.

On the other hand, Nagarjuna will soon join shooting of devotional film ‘Namo Venkatesa’ to be directed by K Raghavendra Rao. The biopic film of godman Hathiram Baba will feature Anushka Shetty as an ardent devotee of Lord Balaji.
