The real beauty of wholesome family entertainers lies in fastening location backdrop and then establishing characters within this framework. ‘A… Aa’ is declared a big hit because more than artists and their performances, the visual beauty and a rustic retreat in Kalavapudi village superimposed on big screen by Nataraj Subramaniam’s camera work won all the applause.

Yes, we have almost locked and believed the whole narration to be taking place somewhere in Koanseema. But, that’s not so. Anasuya Ramalingam that is Samanta and Anand Vihari that is Nithin’s whole track of rural romance is show in Pollachi, no way connected with Andhra Pradesh. It’s the coastal authenticity with lots of greenery made ‘A… Aa’ reminded a beautiful trip through our villages.

To capture the specific visuals Trivikram had in mind, Natty traveled many places and finally locked Pollachi. ‘This place suited the mood of our film. It was hot summer during the shooting days and everybody including Samanta, Hari Teja and myself fell sick. We wanted the authentic and rustic charm like in Malgudi Days,’ Natty explained the thorough hard work wend behind capturing Pollachi’s scenic beauty.
