This week has unfortunately witnessed two big releases of Sai Dharam Tej ‘Supreme’ and Suriya’s ‘24’ releasing in just one day gap. After the beginning of summer season, competition at Box Office was maintained on friendly terms with one big movie planned per each week. With ‘Brahmotsavam’ and ‘A… Aa’ still to lock their exact release dates, Dil Raju and Gnanavel Raja are forced to for the battle.
As per the reports arrived in, ‘Supreme’ opened decently recording the highest day one share in Sai Dharam Tej career. The film is said to be carrying positive reports mainly in B and C class centers where routine entertainers are easily grabbed by audience. While the overall range of ‘Supreme’ can’t be estimated now but for sure the film can end as a decent one in Sai’s career.
On the other hand, ‘24’ from Suriya and Vikram Kumar is highly appreciated by critics for a novel attempt. Openings are said to be stupendous yesterday and it might continue the same trend at Box Office in the coming days too. Apparently, there’s a fear on lower order centers may not emphathize with advanced time concept. So, probability of ‘24’ affecting ‘Supreme’ or vice-versa can be ruled out.
