Paidipally Next Not A Remake!

Director Vamsy Paidipally is overwhelmed with the public adoration for ‘Oopiri.’ The film stood as real winner in this year oozing a new breath of life for Telugu cinema. Attempting such heart touching and painful scripts on star heroes like Nagarjuna and Karthi is a welcome experiment from Vamsy which many directors should follow on. Impressed by Vamsy’s skill and dedication, Nagarjuna had no second thoughts keeping Akhil’s second film in his hands.

Apparently, there was a pressure on Vamsy to go for ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ Telugu remake by making suitable changes in script. However, he isn’t interested in the remake and started working on a youthful love story. So, Akhil’s second in Vamsy Paidipally direction would be a straight Telugu film to be produced either by PVP Cinema or Annapurna Studios.

Vamsy showed stupendous hold on story, scripting and direction with his last few blockbusters ‘Brindavanam, Yevadu, Oopiri’ and each of these films being completely contrast with the others. Vamsy very well evaluated the youthful strengths in Akhil and a script would be prepared accordingly. This might take at least two to three months of time to announce for an official launch. Take it for sure that, Vamsy is not remaking ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.’
