Producer Commits Suicide Watching His Film!

In a tragic incident reported from Malayalam film industry, producer named Ajay Krishnan has committed suicide after watching the premiere of his first film ‘Avarude Ravukal.’ Starring Asif Ali, Unni Mukundan, Aju Varghese, Vinay Fort in lead roles, Krishnan was unhappy with the way final product was shaped up.

A dejected Krishnan committed suicide at his residence in Thirumullavaram in Kollam. The film was made on a budget of Rs. 4 Crores and there were no chances to recover even if the movie is released. So, Krishnan was facing severe financial crisis. ‘All these factors might have forced him to commit suicide,’ a media source from Kerala commented. Monkey Pen is writer and director of the film. 

Before becoming a producer, Krishnan worked as an artist in TV serials and movies. He was so passionate and took the decision to produce a film on own. Its’ unfortunate to see or hear about such incidents. Film industry is colorful but stories behind the screen are black and white.
