Of late, Dil Raju’s strong hold on story, script judgment and his perception towards the hit Box Office formula has lost the credibility. From a man known as care of address for profit making films, today Dil Raju is tagged as a producer, distributor losing his sheen clearly struggling. For example, ‘Subramanyam for Sale, Krishnashtami’ as producer and ‘Rudhramadevi, Dagudumootha Dandadkor’ as distributor stood as recent cases to show Dil Raju’s distress.
Adding more to the outsider views, a statement from director Anil Ravipudi yesterday at ‘Supreme’ audio launch says it all. ‘As a producer, Dil Raju sir gave me enormous freedom. He was stressing at me with only one condition, ‘Please Give Me Money Making and Profit Making Film.’ So, I worked hard to fulfill his wish. For ‘Andam Hindolam’ re-mix song, I know I was going beyond the budget but the song needed such big canvas to infuse grandeur and energy matching the original,’ Anil Ravipudi said.
All these views distinctly manifest a fact that Dil Raju is in dire need of a hit film to break the shackles of his bad run. Hopefully, ‘Supreme’ can be the one film he is waiting for. The movie is all set to hit the screens on May 6.
