There can be no bigger subject than dealing with Satavahana glory for Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film officially announced yesterday in Andhra Pradesh new capital Amaravathi. With conceiving of idea to scripting and direction, Krissh has taken the big responsibility apart from managing the production works with his friend Rajiv Reddy’s First Frame to be the actual production banner.

‘Actually, my father Ntr worked on Satavahana subject and script for nearly 6 months. Now, I am very happy to take up Gauthami Puthra Satakarni fulfilling my father’s dream. Not just the Telugu community, entire world has to feel proud hearing the name of Gauthami Puthra Satakarni. I am blessed to get such a reputable project,’ Balayya said while informing the details.

Along with Amaravthi in Andhra Pradesh, the other kings in Satavahana dynasty ruled entire South India from Koti Lingala in Karimnagar district and also Nasik in Maharashtra. Director Krissh has to be respected for re-telling the story of our cultural treasure.
