Currently, all the Telugu heroes ranging from Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu to family image Srikanth are trying their hand with cop characters. In fact, the yesterday released ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ has shown Pawan Kalyan as a maverick cop with street smart attitude. Anyways, Srikanth is taking the cue from star heroes and is looking forward for the release of ‘Mental Police.’
To remember here, Srikanth earlier secured a decent report for his last release ‘Terror’ working as a suspended police officer in Anti Terrorist Squad. Apparently, audience believed ‘Terror’ as a right break for Srikanth, given his weak form as a character artist. This time, Srikanth is again pinning the hopes on ‘Mental Police,’ struck in a controversy.
Answering to the allegations made by Police Welfare Association, Srikanth expressed his readiness to screen a special premiere show for Police officers. ‘I know about the sentiments of Police people. I can never hurt them. I am sure they will like ‘Mental Police’ immensely. If they can give me some time, I will arrange a special show and if they put forward any concerns regarding the content, I can edit those portions,’ Srikanth informed.
