‘Run’ Adjustment For ‘Oopiri’

We are enjoying new movie releases every week and this week too we have mosta waited ‘Oopiri’ hitting the screens on 25th while Sundeep Kishan’s ‘Oopiri’ is set to come two days early on 23rd as Holi special. With plenty of medium and smaller films having struck to their main theaters in RTC X Roads, there is always a mutual adjustment formula providing every new release enough space.

Replacing ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’ from its main screen of Sudarshan 35 MM, here comes ‘Run’ on 23rd but it’s just a temporary accommodation because ‘Oopiri’ already blocked Sudarshan 35 MM as its main theater. There is no option left for ‘Run’ because it’s pre-planned to shift for Devi 70 MM from 25th pushing out R Narayana Murthy’s ‘Dandakaranyam’ which means ‘Oopiri’ will be screened in Sudarshan 35 MM and ‘Run’ in Devi 70 MM from 25th.

This sort of mutual adaptation is seen many a times in industry because RTC X Roads is a prestigious centre to calculate Box Office strength of a film and scarcity of theaters stood a concern, especially in the competitive summer season.
