Looks like the enormous confidence and trust shown by Prasad V Potluri on ‘Oopiri’ is coming true in reality terms with pre release business of the film getting costly by each day. As per a report, ‘Oopiri’ theatrical distribution rights for Krishna and Gunur region are sold for whopping Rs. 5 Crores amount which is just unbelievable for a Nagarjuna movie.
Casting of Nagarjuna, Karthi, Tamanna and the positive atmosphere set for ‘Oopiri’ after the gigantic success of Nag’s last outings ‘Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana’ are the reasons why PVP Cinema is getting such surprising deals. For first time in career, Nag is playing a paraplegic in the movie struck to wheel chair for the whole narration.
As reported earlier, ‘Oopiri’ is all set to hit the screens on 25th of this month. Both Telugu and Tamil versions are to see the lights on same day. Gopi Sunder composed the music, Vamsy Paidipalppy is the director, PS Vinod cranked the camera while Abburi Ravi is the dialogue writer.
