Fantasy element weaved into a full-fledged story or script always makes the narration interesting. Although, all kinds of scripts do not allow writers to take flexibility in adding these fantasy concepts but AR Murugadoss wrote ‘Maan Karate’ beginning the movie and story narration with fantasy point and ending on the similar note. The same film now remade in Telugu as ‘Thuntari’ with Nara Rohit as hero in Kumar Nagendra direction is hitting screens on 11th of this month.

Coming to fantasy aspect in ‘Thuntari’ story, a group of IT employees take help of Swamiji to know about future and get hold of a future dated newspaper wherein they know about 2 Crore prize money winner at a Boxing competition. Future follows to be the same but what kind of twist they had at end makes treatment and narration part.

Same do happens in Balakrishna’s ‘Adithya 369’ where it’s again the fantasy point of hero Balayya, heroine Mohini and comedian Suththi Velu find a future newspaper in their time machine journey which reads about death of hero. May be, Murugadoss watched 'Adithya 369' atleast one time and inspired the idea from Singeetam’s thought process.
