Despite back to back commercially weak results, PVP Cinema has struck to its path to keep their platter full with high quality films. Other film falling into their list this week is ‘Kshanam’ from debutant director Ravikanth Perepu. The flick is said to be made based on a thriller subject with relatively odd looking cast of Anasuya, Adah Sharma, Adivi Sesh and others. The idea might have been to keep the flick into a different genre and unconventional even with its casting.

Kshanam’ set for this week release is comparatively a low budgeted film in PVP standards. Reports say, the project is wrapped up in approximately 1 Crore budget and the visual quality we are going to see in theaters is sure to leave us spellbound.

‘The biggest challenge I faced with my debut project is budget. We need to create quality visuals and within a shoestring budget. We worked very hard and the result is very satisfying,’ director Ravikanth reported. A producer has to analyze the budgetary calculations and business stamina in a product. So, PVP made it so tight for director and casting to control the financial resources. ‘Kshanam’ aims at its own niche audience in metros and ‘A’ class urban centers.
