Neerja Gets Standing Ovation!

Sonam Kapoor stood as one of the most underrated actors of Bollywood and her father Anil Kapoor waited for one right film to turn her career. Looks like, the right film has come her way with ‘Neerja’ released yesterday in theaters is winning a standing ovation from public. This movie is a biopic on life of Neerja Bhanot, an air hostess who saved so many passengers lives in Pan Am Flight 73 when hijacked in Karachi in 1986 before laying down her own life putting a heroic fight is presented so beautifully on screen by director Director Ram Madhvani.

Throwing the incidents in 23 years of Neerja’s personal life, the film had a strong narrative wherein the hijacking episode and Neerja’s rescue operation on board are touching the hearts of audience. Brave hearts like Neerja are rare to see and Indian audiences here are to acknowledge and salute her. 

Along with Sonam Kapoor, even Shabana Azmi is known to have stolen the show with immaculate performance. One of the most inspirational movies of present generation, ‘Neerja’ opened to one sided reviews with 3.5 and 4 stars all over. Wait and see, how will be the commercial applause?
