‘I know that Telugu cinemas are cliché’ and lacks novelty. When producers and directors decide on following a path, I too decided to go with it. I have been more tilted towards light hearted films off late. This is a conscious move because audiences are enjoying wholesome entertainers. However, they expect a bit of action from me and I do follow their demands.
Coming to encouragement for new stories and new scripts, I can say that Tollywood is missing in quality writers because all those proved writers have taken up direction and doing their own films without giving stories for others,’ Gopichand argues and complains against our writers.
