Our Only Telugu Actor In Oscar Race!

Having got promoted to the status of a grandfather, dialogue king Sai Kumar feels that Telugu industry is still due to give his share as an artist. Already, he worked with Ramcharan in ‘Yevadu’ and Sai’s villainous act oozed loads of energy into characterization. ‘I want to do films with Junior NTR and Mahesh Babu. I am also looking for many young talents to work with,’ Sai Kumar said.

However, he has one more reason to feel happy about and it’s his Kannada film ‘Rangi Taranga’ selected into final 305 films shortlisted for Oscar race. Although final eligibility for the 88th Academy Awards will come for this Kannada film only by next month but Sai is damn confident of making it to the final.

Directed by debutant Anup Bhandari, the film has got both commercial success and critical acclaims. ‘If we win the Award, I will dedicate it to my granddaughter,’ Sai Kumar said it during an interview to top newspaper. Good thing is, Sai Kumar happens to be the only one Telugu artist currently in Oscar game. So, let us wish him all the best.
