Jeevitham Prathi Vaadi Sarada Theerchesthadi… Puri Jagannath’s famous line from ‘Temper’ can be elaborated into a lengthy essay. The current form of Puri is evidently different from what he has during the times of ‘Badri, Idiot’ or even his own brother’s launch flick ‘143’ and ‘Chirutha.’ There was a gradual transition of Puri from a commercial director to philosophically hard hitting writer/director starting with ‘Golimaar.’
Like every great inspirational personality in history will have a stage of enlightenment driving their life into more purposefulness, Puri has become more of such sorts with time. Off late, ‘Temper, Loafer’ are showing peaks of frustration sensed in his dialogue writing. There is a spiritualistic, realistic and intellectuality stuffed into many characterizations flowed from his pen.
In ‘Temper,’ whatever Jr NTR speaks is more like Puri delivering a seriously disturbing lecture for audience and same do applies for Posani role in ‘Loafer.’ Never worry about the life and people around you… just be what you are and do whatever you want. Looks like Puri-ism is prevailing so strongly than RGV-ism and Pawanism these days. Whatever, Puri isn't so happy with this life and has many complaints.
