The year comes to a close.Despite blockbusters like 2012 and Avatar from the West, Bollywood films did fairly well.Aamir’s 3 Idiots opened its collection windows.Wanted starring Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia was the top grosser of 2009 netting Rs 75 crore. This film is directed by debutant Prabhudeva and Salman plays the character Mahesh Babu played in Telugu film Pokiri.

The remake film is a combination of romance, humour and action.And we have Love Aaj Kal which is a debut of Saif Ali Khan as producer. It is considered the second highest grocer of the year which collected over 66.5 crore. Saif, Deepika Padukone and Brazilian model Gisele Montero are in the lead roles. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film is a love story of two generations and how the concept of love changes over the years.
