As a writer Kona Venkat faced real tough times in last few months with back to back disaster results of ‘Bruce Lee, Tripura’ and ‘Akhil.’ Of course, the main focus of criticism was diverted on to respective directors and heroes but as a story, screenplay and dialogue writer, the share of blame Kona has to receive is still in balance. Before playing the blame game, Kona still has one more chance to revive his fortunes in the form of ‘Sankarabharanam.’
This much anticipated flick having Nikhil and Nandini as main leads is largely inspired from Bollywood hit ‘Phas Gaya Obama.’ Going by the present promotional strategy in vogue, Kona is showcased Kartha, Karma and Kriya for ‘Sankarabharanam.’ This means, either a hit or super hit and flop or super flop, Kona Venkat is ready to take the total credit of this flick.
To mention here, Kona is just co-producer and writer while new comer Uday Nandanavam is the director. Good news is; Kona used all his influence to sell ‘Sankrabharanam’ with good table profits. Onus now lies on its commercial result. Will Kona recover from past debacles and get back to full flow with ‘Sankrabharanam?’
