Off late, very rarely do we see Telugu movies completing their 100 days run in theaters. As producers and distributors are reaping on short term benefits by raking record figures with in the first week followed by dry run for later weeks, here comes a film from Mahesh Babu achieving the rare feat of successful 100 days run in 15 theaters across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Directed by Koratala Siva with Shruti Hasan as heroine and music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the noble theme of film based on village adoption has stroked the right chord with audience. With a strong social message, Koratala gave a perfect commercial treatment thus keeping ‘Srimanthudu’ as second highest grosser in Tollywood standing just next to ‘Bahubali.’
Mahesh Babu Fans quite well enjoyed their hero in a definite meaningful character and this film has also elevated Mahesh’s personal image by manifolds. By any sorts, this is a well deserved feat by ‘Srimanthudu’ which will remain as a special project in Mahesh Babu’s whole of the career.
