Akhil Follows Mahesh Babu Strategy!

Youngster Akhil has a perfect strategy for his future career. He does want to get constricted within a particular image just like his father Nagarjuna and grand-father Nageshwara Rao. Although debuting with a purely mass story and script, Akhil has kept few limitations for him-self when coming to remakes or re-iterating the same epic films done by ANR and Nagarjuna in the past.

‘No, I do not want to touch the greatest classics done by my father and grand pa. I will never attempt for remakes of their movies. Sometimes, there is a definite threat of such projects going wrong and thus bringing a bad reputation. It’s always better to keep them as master-pieces and try the best with those subjects available before me,’ Akhil responded.

In fact, Mahesh Babu also followed a similar approach when media repeatedly questioned him on remake of Super Star Krishna’s ‘Alluri Seetha Rama Raju.’ Times might have changed and tastes of audiences are also dynamically varying. The decision of Mahesh and Akhil should be appreciated because they want to develop a star image of own rather than depending upon the mileage of ancestors.
