Writer Kona Venkat is completely against the film circles saying, ‘he is the only one man ruling and running the film industry.’ In turn Kona re-writes the statement like, ‘I am not ruling the industry. It’s industry which is providing me food. Till the time I continue to deliver successful stories and scripts, everyone will look at me. The moment I am a failure, no one will at least take my name. That is the power of success in this field,’ Kona says.
Apparently, Kona appears to have no plans of taking up direction in nearby time though his close relations with young and star heroes can get him an offer immediately. ‘As a director, I need to hook up with only one project for one or two years. As a writer, I am flexible and getting six to seven projects to work for each year. So, I am happy with what I am today,’ Kona justifies his decision.
As we all know, Kona narrated a story long ago to Power Star Pawan Kalyan. However, there is no progress in those plans till now. Finally, industry needs writers like Kona who has become the savior for small and medium budgeted films. For sure, he cannot be happy as director, if professional satisfaction is considered.
