There are extended requests by Ramcharan in every press meet, not to address ‘Bruce Lee’ as Chiranjeevi’s 150th film when there is a new project in final setting up stage for Mega Star’s prestigious assignment. However, if an on screen appearance is to be considered as increase in the film count by one, then ‘Bruce Lee’ should be obviously weighed as 150th but for the sake of convenience and appeal from Charan, let us not do that.
In fact, Srinu Vytla sketched an altogether a different plan to make ‘Bruce Lee’ as 150th. It was Ramcharan who played it safe not to make a cameo counted as full one. ‘Actually when Vytla came up with the idea of adding a special star attraction to ‘Bruce Lee,’ we immediately thought of dad’s name. If at all, dad denied this we should have wiped off this portion from film. Thankfully, dad agreed for it.
Later Vytla wanted a song and few scenes to be shot on dad for which I totally opposed. I strictly warned them to keep ‘Bruce Lee’ appearance as cameo because Fans would enjoy a complete treat only when dad dances and performs in a full-fledged movie,’ Charan explained.
