Symbolizing the 68 years of Independence, this ride had a travel course of 68 Kilometers. When the news of Mahesh Babu attending the event is actively promoted by corporate companies, more than 2000 cycle enthusiasts sprang to the venue. Mahesh Babu always showed a charity side to embolden his character. His acceptance to show a presence at Freedom Ride is aimed at raising funds for an organization named United Way of Hyderabad.
