Horror Comedy is proving to be a safe genre for Indian cinema. Producers are drawing huge response for their films with profound increase in market span for this genre. Lawrence Raghava directed and acted ‘Ganga’ that is ‘Kanchana 2’ in Tamil is one of the biggest hits in recent times entering into 100 Crores club. For a film in this genre getting entry into 100 Crores club is just unexpected because horror movies are encouraged by only a small set of audience.

Whatsoever, Tamil trade sources have put ‘Kanchana 2’ in 100 Crores club with cash registers still ringing non-stop. Reports say, few of the screens in Chennai are noticing houseful boards even in this ninth or tenth week run which is phenomenal. As we all know, ‘Ganga’ that is Telugu version has also raked decent profits for producer Bellamkonda Suresh in his tough times.
