Summer season or say early May is made appetizing with Balakrishna ‘Lion’ and Lawrence ‘Ganga’ standing in the fray. Although release dates of both these flicks are tentatively locked earlier, when the penultimate moment of release arrived there were many setbacks. Apparently, ‘Lion’ had its Audio Mixing Engineer Madhusudhan Reddy dead and there were also pre release business woes making the film fall into doldrums.
In parallel were the similar financial hassles for Lawrence Ragahava directed ‘Ganga’ from the production house of Bellamkonda Suresh. However, the dubbed flick which gained superb collections in Tamil Nadu is arriving in AP and TS on May 1st. What-so-ever, when ‘Ganga’ had the date locked, it would be hard for other films to see the light in same week.
Accordingly, Balakrishna must also plan ‘Lion’ release at the earliest possible. As of now, there is no great propulsion gathered around the Sathya Deva directorial. Producer Ramana Rao should accelerate the publicity with a well planned release date announced else the film would suffer from all the angles.
